What are my names and what is my conservation status (please check all that apply)?
This patient was reportedly found on the ground as an orphan and sold to persons wanting to help the poor baby, yet lacking the awareness that it is illegal to sell or buy native belizean wildlife. Furthermore everyone was shocked to find that the animal had gunshot in him, indicating that he was not an orphan, but a victim of wildlife poaching by hunters.

These 4 were found on the ground. Unfortunately their parents could not be located and the Forest Department brought the birds to BWRC for a veterinary check over. Thankfully the birds showed no signs of disease nor injury and were transferred to rehabilitation.
