The values and mission statement devised by our congregation during discernment conversations continue to guide us through MVUUF’s future: Community, Love, Transformation, Justice, and Inclusivity. We are a liberal religious community uniting in love and action for a more just world.
We’re striving for 100% participation in the pledge campaign, based on the reality that we all have a stake in MVUUF’s next chapter, our shared future, as we work to find and ultimately move to our new home. We rely on everyone in the MVUUF community to pledge to sustain this faith community by committing to share the dollar amount you can throughout the coming year.
Everyone has different life circumstances. We are asking you to assess your overall financial resources and please give what you can. Steward- ship seeks to open us to the abundance already present in our lives so that we might share with others, in mission. Stewardship addresses the question of whether or not the people of a congregation want their church to exist. Your pledge also enables us to plan our budget, confident that we will have the resources available to meet, and maybe even exceed our goals!
All pledges are gratefully accepted, no matter the amount.
