OKC Black Restaurant Weeks (#OKCBRW) is a city-wide celebration of Black-owned restaurants, chefs, food trucks, and caterers in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area. OKCBRW aims to stimulate, collectively $500,000 in direct spending for participating restaurants during the month. All sales revenue generated remains with the participating restaurants.
For local diners #OKCBRW is more than just a foodie adventure – it is an opportunity to explore restaurants in different neighborhoods & revisit your pastime favorites. For tourists, it’s an opportunity to experience the best of our Black-owned restaurants without breaking the bank.
For sponsors, it is a perfect program to enhance your brand and can result in ROI in the form of awareness, connections, sales and more. Sponsors benefit from access to the OKCBRW member base and/or followers of the promotion, integrated marketing outreach, and unique opportunities to highlight your brand.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau - Survey of Business Owners (2007, 2012) OKC Metro Area, African American firms generate $463M in sales versus $1.45B generated by Hispanic-owned firms. This month-long series will serve as an awareness campaign of local businesses and economic development in predominately African American communities.
Through a comprehensive and targeted marketing and advertising campaign and coverage from local television, radio, print media, and food bloggers, OKCBRW will be the subject of thousands of conversations throughout Central Oklahoma.
OKCBRW is marketed via all available platforms to maximize visibility for restaurants and sponsors that are apart of the promotion. Our general marketing and advertising campaign include:

A $225 non-refundable fee is required for any non-sponsoring participants. The fee is used to offset marketing and advertising expenses. Payment by credit cards must be received by January 22, 2021.
