YES Project Registration - Adult Crew Leader
When: Thursday, June 13 to Saturday, June 15, 2024
Where: Defiance High School Athletic Complex and YMCA
Closing Mass: 4:00 pm Saturday, June 15th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church

What You Need to Know:
  • Must be willing to work with teens at job sites throughout Defiance
  • You’ll be transporting youth to and from sites in your vehicle along with supplies
  • You are not required to stay overnight, but we’d love to have you if it works in your schedule! It is important as a crew leader that you are present for the team building days and times, and at the work sites
  • You will be contacted for a meeting to give you information about the site(s) you are assigned to and if we are in need of additional tools
Times we would like you to be available:
  • Thursday 5:30 pm to 8:00/8:30 pm
  • Meet your crew, team building activities, pack our lunches, & review the sites & tools with your crew
  • Reconciliation is at 7:30 pm - You are welcome to join us!
  • Friday 8:00 am to 6:30 pm
  • Breakfast 8:00 am – location TBD
  • Sites 8:30 am to 4:00 pm – pick up tools at St John’s if you don’t have them already
  • 4:15-5:15 pm – Showers at the YMCA (Adults only may go home to shower)
  • Dinner 5:30 pm – location TBD
  • Games, tentative live concert, bonfire, witness talks from adults & young adults
  • Saturday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
  • Breakfast 7:30 am – location TBD
  • Sites 8:00 am to 12:30 pm – Return tools to St John’s
  • Lunch 12:45 -1:30 pm – location TBD
  • 1:30 to 2:30 pm - Games, showers, pack up
  • 2:30 pm – Gather for group sharing – see & hear Christ alive in the teens!
  • 3:30 pm – Prepare for Mass & all attend 4:00 closing Mass at St Mary’s
