Where would you like to volunteer?

Set Up - Volunteering with set up will include being at the Art Park at 8:00am. During this time, volunteers will help set up tables and chairs, and clean up trash.

Welcome Table- The Welcome Table is where artists go to find their assigned spots, grab a drink of water, and retrieve a registration packet. Fair goers also come by to grab a pamphlet and vote for the people's choice award.

Main Stage- Throughout the day, performance artists are featured on the Main Stage and Poetry Pavilion. People working on and off the stage may need specific things done on the day of the fair. Volunteers assigned to these areas will help with any needs that may arise. Artists often need help grabbing things from a vehicle or they may need someone to watch their belongings.

Booth Sitter- Sometimes artists need a bathroom break. Sometimes other volunteers in Art Park may need to grab a bite to eat. Runners are stationed at the Volunteer Booth and venture wherever they are needed. There will never be a dull moment!

Kids Zone- Every year, the artist chosen to be the feature of The Aaron Douglas Art Fair submits art to be used for market purposes. That includes the design of the fair t-shirts. This year we even have a project that rocks! It's rock painting.

Tear Down- This is a crew of some very special people. These volunteers have the task of making sure the chairs and tables are folded for pickup. Volunteers that enlist for this job get to help make sure that the park sparkles after a long day.
