The Museum can accommodate events for up to 250 guests standing, seated 125.

The Museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items during events.

The Museum provides a limited number of ancillary chairs. For seated or large events, parties must rent tables and chairs from an outside vendor.

If alcohol will be served at the event, the Museum and NYS regulations require the catering company to secure a special event alcohol permit. The Museum will prohibit the serving of alcohol if a copy of the permit is not provided to the Museum at least 48 hours before the start of the event.

The Museum requires event or general liability insurance for all rentals. The Museum is not responsible for securing the required insurance and may cancel any rental which does not provide proof of required insurance at least 48 hours before the start of the event.

All vendors, including caters and performers, must be approved by the Museum prior to the start of the event. If the Museum recommends a vendor, then its assumed pre-approved. All vendors must provide proof of general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance (if applicable). Vendor insurance coverage is in additional to the insurance requirement in the above paragraph. The Museum may refuse any vendors who the Museum deems in its sole discretion risks the safety and well-being of the Museum space, Museum staff, Museum guests, Event guests, Event staff, or could cause reputational harm to the Museum.

The Museum requires a signed credit card authorization to be on file or a damage deposit for all events.
