From Early Trials to Lasting Difficulties:  The Role of Childhood & Adolescent Experiences in Adult Life
Given that younger life experiences influence later adult life, the current study examines some individual-level challenges, early substance use, and family-level-challenges in shaping later adult outcomes.

Throughout the study, you are encouraged to take care of your mental health as the subject matter may be sensitive. If you are feeling distressed at any point in the study, you have the right to exit the survey. Additionally, we have arranged for a licensed social worker from NAMI Hancock County to be available for mental health support. Brittany Schindler can be reached by emailing brittany@namihancockcounty.org or calling 567-525-3435. You can also call the crisis hotline for immediate help at 1-888-936-7116.
