Brussels Balboa Rdv Thursday Begin/Inter - Level 1 - Classes Registration
Our next Balboa Begin/Inter Level I classes will start on 10th February 2022, and run each Thursday in Salle Dublin (Rue de Dublin 13, 1050 Ixelles) from 18h00 to 19h30 until 23th of June, for a total of 15 classes of 1h30 each, and a total price of 150 EUR for the session.

Classes are scheduled on:  10/2, 17/2, 24/2, 10/3, 24/3, 31/3, 21/4, 28/4, 5/5, 12/5, 19/5, 2/6, 9/6, 16/6, 23/6 (no classes on 3/3, 17/3, 7/4, 14/4, 26/5 )

To attend those classes, you need to have followed at least 1 semester, and you know your Balboa basics (down/hold steps, comearound, throw-out, swivels, out-in, lollies). This session will add variations on your basics, and increase your confidence in Balboa steps and faster speed.

If you register on your own, you will be put on a waiting list until we match you with a partner.

Payment agreement *
When you receive your registration agreement by mail, to complete your registration, please send us a paiement of 150 EUR to our bank account: BE95 0018 1253 8158, account holder: "Swing It Brussels Asbl", with your name & BALBOA L1 in the communication. If we are forced to reschedule or cancel some classes of this session due to applicable health regulations, we will be giving you options to reschedule or get a refund for the classes not happening (we will do our best to offer you a full refund option, but we can't guarantee it).
COVID-19 Protocol & Safe ticket *
Due to the current sanitary situation in Belgium, a specific protocol is to be followed for sport and dance practices. We will ask you to show your CST (covid safe ticket) at least once, but we may ask it any time.  Only students with CST will be accepted in class. We will ask you to adhere to the following directives: Wear a mask when you arrive at the class, do not wait or group in the lobby and directly go to the dance floor, at the end of the class exit the room and directly leave the premises; Physical contact is allowed during the class, however you have to observe a 1,5m distance when you are not on the dance floor; You do not need to wear a mask during the class; Use the hand sanitising gel available at the entrance to disinfect your hands before and after the class; Avoid touching common objects (door handles, chairs, ...); Bring your own water as no drinks can be provided on the premises.

By registering for our Balboa classes organised by Swing It Brussels (also called SIB)  you understand & accept these Terms & Conditions at all times.   We would like to remind you that participation is at your own risk. SIB organisers are not responsible for any claim, injury, loss or damage which may occur from participating in this event. We want our event to be a safe and non-threatening environment for participants & organisers. All dancers have the right to enjoy dancing in a safe and enjoyable environment where appropriate etiquette and behaviours are expected. Please have a look at our code of conduct. We reserve the right to refuse admission and/or contact with any person who displays verbal, physical and/or threatening behaviour towards our staff or participants. We reserve the right to ask any person who displays inappropriate dance floor behaviour towards our dancers to leave the event. SIB reserves the right to turn down registrations or refuse entry to any part of the event.

At the same time, we also want everyone to feel and be safe while attending our classes.So, here are a few quick points to bear in mind while attending :We welcome every dancer at our classes. Respect people’s opinions, beliefs, differing states of being and differing points of view.Respect your own and other people’s physical and emotional boundaries.Be responsible for your own actions. Be aware that your actions can affect others.Dance roles are not necessarily related to gender. Everyone can dance with anyone! Take care of yourself and of others – on and off the dance floor (this includes personal hygiene)If you experience or witness any behaviour that crosses your boundaries or makes you feel uncomfortable the teachers are here for you, but remember that simple communication may help.Any behaviour that threatens other’s safety within the space may lead to exclusion of the class.If you encounter any problems you want to talk about, please inform our teachers.
