Teaching Network  Pre-course survey
We would like to invite you to complete a 15-minute pre-course survey for the TechPathways teaching networks professional development course.

We are using this survey both for research and as a pre-course survey to prepare material and activities for the course.

For the research, we will match your pre and post-course surveys to see if there are any changes in answers to some common questions. We will use your name for this purpose, this data item will be converted to a numerical value and this  personal data will not be stored or used for any other purposes.

The research element of the course is being undertaken because schools across England are now required to deliver computing lessons including a range of pedagogies. This study hopes to better understand how CPD can introduce some of these different pedagogies, how educators from different contexts can use them in class and what educators perceptions are of the impact of this CPD.

If you would like to take part in the research element of the survey, we would be very grateful, but you should only take part if you want to – it is entirely up to you. If you choose not to take part, there won’t be any disadvantages for you, and you will hear no more about it.

Information about ethics approval and data storage is shown at the end of the survey.

Please email the principal researcher Jane Waite (j.l.waite@qmul.ac.uk) if you need more information.
