We the undersigned are concerned about the growing threat to pedestrian safety. On a daily basis we find ourselves sharing sidewalks and crosswalks with bicycles, pedal assist e-bikes, throttle bikes, and mopeds coming at us from all directions.

These vehicles are not permitted to ride on sidewalks, or run through red lights, yet there is no enforcement of these regulations. We therefore call upon our elected officials and the Department of Transportation to take measures to put an end to this growing threat.
