Self-assessment by teachers is fundamental to reflective practice that contributes to the professional growth of teachers. This is an assessment tool which serves as a guide for teachers to self-assess themselves and reflect on their daily teaching practices as well as on their role as a teacher. This is based on five performance standards mentioned below. These Performance Standards reflect the expected roles and responsibilities of a teacher and enable them to implement NEP2020 in spirit in their schools.
