GIAA Board Nomination 2022

The Candidate Nomination form provides the Nomination Committee a uniform way to document candidate credentials. Completion of the nomination form is mandatory. Nominations must be submitted by October 22nd, 2021.

The office/positions are for two-year terms 2022-23. The positions and terms are subject to change. Voting positions could change if a current board member runs for a new position.

BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES: AS A NOMINEE TO THE GIAA BOARD OF DIRECTORS, I AM WILLING TO: Educate myself on the association, its goals, member needs, current situation and future needs. Stay informed of national, state and local trends that affect the association and its members. Attend monthly board meetings (Missing three will be grounds for automatic removal). Attend and support GIAA events. Chair a board committee or serve as a liaison. Recognize my role as member of the team, supporting policies that have been adopted by the board, even if I don’t personally agree with them. Be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable voice for the association. Encourage my company colleagues to attend GIAA events.
