Are you interested in being part of KIAC's Welcoming Crew?
The welcoming crew is made up of Dawson residents who love meeting people, showing people our amazing community, and are passionate about ensuring visiting artists, musicians, & presenters feel welcome, cared for, and connected during their stay.

Activities of the Welcoming Crew may be:
  1. Artist Host - work with staff to connect with visiting artists before they arrive, plan some fun things to do while they are visiting (such as giving a town tour, meeting for meals, driving up the dome)
  2. Green Room - mainly for performing artists, this involves making our 'green room' less workspace, and more 'chill' space
  3. Meals - mainly for performing artists, this involves preparing meals/snacks for the green room area using KIAC's commercial kitchen. Supplies paid for by KIAC.
This is a committee made of up a roster of folks who can be part of a 'buddy crew (2-3 people)' for visiting artists when they arrive. We'll reach out the committee members prior to the artist's arrival, and will have folks step forward as they have the capacity.
