Description
The Andson Tutor or Tutor Aide Sub will assist with Homework Help for students (K-12) in reading and/or math. Andson is currently hiring for the following locations:
- Alexander Library
- Centennial Hills Library
- East Las Vegas Library
- Enterprise Library
- Rainbow Library
- Spring Valley Library
- Sunrise Library
- West Las Vegas Library
- Whitney Library
- Windmill Library
- Taylor ES
- Hinman ES
Responsibilities
Assist students in grades K-12 with homework help and tutoring. This is an on-call position to substitute for permanent tutors or aides. There may be opportunities to become a permanent tutor or tutor aide.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or completed an associates degree or higher
- Written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus
- Bilingual skills are a plus
This position will be from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm from Monday-Thursday starting on September 5, 2023. Ideal availability for 4-8 hours per week. Andson's HR director will assign you your preferred location and days.
Pay Range: $17-$33.75/hour, depending on experience.
