Presenter 3: Laura Schamberger
Title: Planet & Health Literacy
Bio: With her background in physiotherapy and a master’s degree in International Health and Social Management at MCI Innsbruck, that will soon be completed, Laura became involved with the topics of prevention and health promotion early on. Through her love for nature and outdoors, she was keen to combine her passions and dive deeper into the subject area of planet and health during her studies. As an intern at the Global Health Literacy Academy, Laura got the opportunity to explore the area of Planetary Health Literacy by conducting a scoping review. Based on this, she is currently writing her master thesis on this topic. The aim is to define and conceptualize Planetary Health Literacy and to enable the dissemination of this concept in the long run, in order to help safeguarding the well-being of our planet and its living creatures.
