What is NVC?

Nonviolent Communication (NVC), developed by American psychologist Marshall Rosenberg, is a transformative approach designed to enhance empathy towards ourselves and others. This powerful method helps us gain deeper understanding of ourselves and those around us.

NVC provides us with practical tools for resolving conflicts and better listening, by creating awareness of the emotions and needs that drive our actions, words, and thoughts.

Practicing NVC can lead to more fulfilling relationships with ourselves, partners, children, family members, colleagues, and even between conflicting groups.

In this workshop, we will touch on the fundamental principles of NVC and practice them in ways that can start benefiting your daily life immediately.

Below is a short TEDx video that gives some perspective :)

Who are we?

Joel Meshi is an NVC trainer and a certified dialogue facilitator for groups in conflict. He has been leading workshops since 2019 on several topics including communication, sexuality and personal relationships.

Thaïs Montanari started on her NVC journey in 2022 and has yearned to share this method after the difference it made to her relationships (with others and herself). After having spent half her life between Asia and Eastern Europe, NVC has finally given her a method for hearing and appeasing conflicts, one which can be applied to any situation.
