Dear Band Parent / Student,

Before you know it Band Camp will be here, so we are sending this letter to inform you about the 2022-2023 marching band season assessment for the Carlynton Band Parent Association.  The assessment fee is $137.00 per student.  As in the past, if the parent or guardian works at four functions per student, then your assessment is reduced to $95.00.

This assessment is a mandatory participation fee for marching band. Some of the expenses it covers are uniform cleaning and repairs, band members' banquet ticket, band camp, liability Insurance (required), letterman jacket refund after 3 years of participation, refreshments for all games and activities (includes refreshments for visiting bands), senior gifts for senior night, band camp supplies & expenses, senior albums, website domain, and other miscellaneous expenses for the band.

This year the collection of the assessment fee is to be handled the same as in years past.  We are requiring the first installment of $50.00 to be paid ON or BEFORE the first day of Band Camp, August 1, 2022.  The second and final payment is due October 1, 2022

As in the past, if a student’s assessment has not been paid and their account is not in good standing, then the student will not be permitted to perform until it is corrected (paid).  Please fill out the bottom portion of this letter, indicate whether you will be deducting the payment from your student’s account, or if you will be enclosing a check.  Your agreement authorizes the Band Parent Association to deduct the payment from your student’s account and that you accept the terms of this letter.  Checks should be made payable to Carlynton Band Parents Association (CBPA).

Please return this form ON or BEFORE August 1, 2022.  Non-payment of assessment may result in collection action as appropriate.  Pay via Paypal.me/CarlyntonBand or mail payment to Resa Zygula, 1 Cooks Lane, Carnegie, PA 15106.  Payment may also be given to any of the CBPA Officers on the first day of camp .  Any questions or concerns can be emailed to carlyntonmarchingband@gmail.com.

Please note, assessments must be paid and accounts in good standing for students to be eligible to perform during the Marching Band Season and to participate in the Band Trip and the Band Banquet.
