The Artisans Way features a monthly vendor night market in North Bay, Ontario that provides opportunities for local artisans. We have a passion for recognizing, supporting, and helping local artisans grow their businesses and make connections. This application is only for our Bay Block Party Event.

We believe in supporting fellow entrepreneurs and small businesses with three key principles:
1. Working with competition to create a culture of collaboration
2. Creating a safe space of inclusion instead of a fear of scarcity in our business culture
3. Aiding in the social evolution of our city by bringing more night time events for all ages.

Advertising and Marketing - We will be advertising and marketing our night markets via social media, blog posts, our website, press releases, and more. Applying as a vendor gives us the right to use your photos, your name and your shops name to promote your amazing work and get as many people as possible to come and see our vendors! That being said, we also expect you to do your part by letting your community know where they can find you. We expect at least one post or story prior to our event on whatever platform you have letting people know about the event. Have you read and acknowledge this section? *
Vendor Competition - At the Artisans Way, we are all about fairness and inclusivity. We believe that complaints about other vendors selling the same products are misplaced concerns. Every product is unique and every vendor is special with their own business model and goals. As long as there is a diversity in the products being produced, it will find its own customer community of supporters. We've looked at many markets all over Canada that embrace multiple vendors selling similar products side by side, and even in the consumer world there are multiple farmers, clothing stores and plumbing companies that find a way to run a business alongside each other doing similar tasks and selling similar products. As a vendor it is your job to make your brand stand out and show the community why your product and brand is unique. At The Artisans Way we want to give you the avenue to embrace all of the talent our community has to offer. When faced with "competition," use that fire to start a collaboration and build a beautiful friendship and be innovative about how you sell and promote your product and brand. Have you read this section? *
Insurance - In the case of an accident/theft/injury or incidents that are a result from your booth/table setup, The Artisans Way takes no reasonability. It is the vendors responsibility to obtain their own insurance. Insurance is not a requirement but a suggestion for vendors to protect themselves. Have you read and understand this section? *
Should you be accepted, you will receive more information regarding set up time and unloading details the week of each event.  Have you read and understand this section?
