WRITING FROM THE HEART
A Creative Workshop with writer Brian Mullin
18:30–20:00, Wednesday 1st May, 2024
Ever wanted a creative outlet to express yourself, but weren't sure where to start? People living with HIV all have extraordinary experiences in their lives. This fun online workshop offers a chance to draw on all our emotions and imaginations to try out some creative writing.
No experience needed! This will be a fun, inclusive session.
Writer and teacher Brian Mullin has taught with the National Theatre, the Kiln, Theatre 503 and City Lit and worked with many community organisations including Positive East and Coram UK. Brian's show Live to Tell was inspired by his own experience on antiretrovirals and also showcased the writing of other folks living with HIV.
Brian is an expert in building supportive, empowering groups where folks from all backgrounds gain tools and encouragement to try writing. Whatever your schooling or language background, you can express yourself creatively.
This is a one-time taster session that we hope will lead to the creation of a Bloomsbury Network Creative Writing Group. Why not come along and give it a try? All you need is a pen and some paper.
Please fill in your details below, so that have an idea of how many people to expect, and so that we can send more detailed information to you, prior to the online session.
