Jaycees Hut Rental Request
The Jaycees "Hut" can hold a maximum of 126 people. We have 11 white tables, 52 white plastic chairs, and 29 wooden chairs. We have a working refrigerator, kitchen sink, and microwave.

I. Rental Fee

A standard event rental allows you to use the facility for up to 8 hours. The rental fee is $400.00, plus an additional $200.00 deposit. In total, you are required to pay $600.00 up front.

Your $200.00 deposit will be returned to you within 48 hours after your event if you comply with all Facility Rental Rules set forth below. If you fail to comply with any Facility Rental Rules, the Savannah Jaycees have the right to keep some or all of your $200.00 deposit at the sole discretion of the Jaycees Management Development VP/VP of Facilities.

If you cancel your rental 48 hours before the event, you will receive a full refund of your $600.00. If you cancel your rental less than 48 hours before the event, you may receive a partial refund at the sole discretion of the Jaycees Management Development VP/VP of Facilities.

You must pay via check made payable to Savannah Jaycees, Venmo (@savannah-jaycees), Zelle, or Cash App. We will not accept cash payment.

II. Facility Rental Rules

You must be 21 years or older to contract for the use of the facility.

You cannot use the facility for the party of a person less than 16 years of age. If children attend your event, they must be supervised at all times.

At the discretion of the Jaycees Management Development VP/VP of Facilities, you may be permitted to access the facility before your event to decorate.

You cannot bring loose glitter or confetti into the facility.

You must obey all applicable noise ordinances.

You must keep the kitchen light (and thus the exit sign over the western door, facing Buckingham South) on at all times.

You cannot smoke or use illegal drugs in the facility.

You cannot provide alcohol to minors in the facility.

You cannot enter the premises of Rambam Day School next to the facility, including the playground. Violators will automatically lose the entire $200.00 deposit and may be subject to criminal or civil liability for trespass.

You cannot cause permanent damage to the facility, furniture, appliances, etc.

After your event, you must do each of the following:
-Empty all trash cans and take trash bags to the trash bins by the road.
-Turn off all lights in the facility.
-Turn both thermostats in the facility to “off” mode.
-Sweep the facility floor.
-Lock all facility doors.
-Return all tables and chairs to their original configuration.
-Return all flags and wall decorations to their original configuration.

III. Waiver of Liability

By agreeing to this Facility Rental Agreement, you are giving up the right to hold the Savannah Jaycees, any of its affiliated entities, its officers, or its members liable for any injury to person or property of yourself or your guests arising from your event. You agree to comply with all Facility Rental Rules listed above. You agree to use the facility and its contents only for their intended purposes.
