「初公開」！！！The first time screening of Sayanara, Fengchuan (2022).

The film Sayonara,Fengchuan (2022) is a short non-fiction film of about 40 minutes. The word "Fengchuan"(風船) in Chinese refers to a ship drifting on the sea, while in Japanese it means balloon. Although the kanji and Japanese have different meanings, they share the same wandering image. Is there an end to the wanderings of people who move around the world in the form of words? Is hometown just a utopia of modern society? This short film tries to answer these questions. It will consist of clips of the author's life in Tokyo and Nagoya from June 2018 to 2022. These clips constitute the daily life and actions of the Chinese "I" living in Japan, representing a longing for memory, home and acceptance of the self as the "other" of the "I". Here, it is no longer just a discussion of what is Chinese and what is Japanese. It is also concerned with the point of view of the self, no longer insisting on the objective truth of the documentary, but trying to create a dialogue and interaction between the filmmaker =author and the subject. At the same time, the concept of diaspora is filled with the desire to transcend the limits of national borders as a Chinese living in Japan. Although we are caught in the present time, the movement of people never stops. This work is part of my research and a first step in that direction. What kind of experience and feeling will it bring to different audiences? Through the production and screening of this film, I hope to hear more voices and answers.

作品「さよなら、風船」は、約40分の短編ノンフィクション映画です。 『風船』という言葉は、漢字では海を漂う船を意味し、一方で日本語ではバルーンを表しています。 漢字と日本語では意味合いが違いますが、同じ放浪のイメージを持っています。言葉と同じように世界を移動する人間の放浪に終わりはあるのでしょうか。 ふるさとは、現代社会におけるユートピアに過ぎないのでしょうか。 この短編は、上記の問いに答えようとするものです。 2018年6月から2022年まで、東京と名古屋で生活する著者の映像で構成される予定です。 これらのクリップは、在日中国人である「私」の日常生活と行動を構成し、記憶、故郷、そして「私」である "他者 "としての自己の存在を受け入れることへの憧れを表しています。 ここでは、もはや何が中国で何が日本かという議論だけでは済まないです。 また、自己の視点に焦点を当て、もはやドキュメンタリー映画の客観的真実に固執することなく、カメラを持つ者＝作者と被写体との対話と相互作用を起こすことを試みています。 同時に、ディアスポラという概念には、在日中国人として国境の限界を超えたいという思いも込められています。今時代にとらわれながらも、人の移動は決して止まりません。 この作品は、私が取り組んでいる研究の一部であり、その第一歩でもあります。 さまざまなオーディエンスに、どのような体験や感覚をもたらすのか？この映画の制作・上映を通じて、もっといろいろな声や答えが聞けるようになればと思います。
