The Oakland Schools Connect.Learn.Transform task force invites all Oakland Schools employees to submit proposals for our annual day of internal learning, to be held at the main campus on Monday, March 16, 2020.

We come together every year in order to make connections across our organization, learn from and with each other, and transform the way we do business.

Equity is the CIP goal focus for Connect.Learn.Transform, 2020. While we encourage proposals related to each CIP goal, we especially invite proposals with an Equity focus. You might consider these questions as you craft your proposal:

* How do you build collaborative teams within departments and across Oakland Schools?
* What are some ways to build a warm and welcoming climate and culture?
* What might equity look like as it relates to your work within Oakland Schools?
* How can we build personal connections with Oakland Schools colleagues with similar interests?

Experience what makes our organization unique! The day of internal learning will include a variety of learning opportunities including whole-group, break out, and concurrent sessions. Get involved and become an active participant, share your knowledge, and join the conversation.
