ONA está organizando un Programa de Intercambio Lingüístico Virtual en colaboración con el Programa de Educación de Lenguas Mundiales de Rhode Island College! El programa se va a enfocar en español e inglés. Si hablas uno de los dos idiomas y estás aprendiendo el otro, este programa te va a ayudar!

Nos reuniremos como grupo completo el lunes 1 de noviembre de 7:00-8:00 pm en Zoom para comenzar el programa. En el evento, se le asignará a su socio y se le proporcionará una descripción general de los objetivos del programa. Usted y su pareja se comprometerán a reunirse al menos una vez a la semana durante las seis semanas en el momento que sea conveniente para ambos. Puede elegir reunirse en persona o usar una de las siguientes plataformas: Zoom, WhatsApp, Google Hangouts o lo que sea que funcione para usted. El lunes 6 de diciembre de 2021 nos volveremos a reunir como grupo completo en Zoom de 7:00 a 8:00 p.m.

Esperamos que esto no solo mejore las habilidades lingüísticas, sino que también nos ayude a conocer a nuestros vecinos y construir una comunidad más fuerte.

ONA is starting a VIRTUAL Language Exchange Program for our members in collaboration with the Rhode Island College World Languages Education Program! The focus will be on Spanish and English. If you speak one of these languages and are learning the other, this program is for you! Open to all!

We will meet as a whole group on Monday, November 1st from 7:00-8:00 pm on Zoom to kick off the program. At the event, you will be matched with your partner and provided an overview of the goals of the program. You and your partner will commit to meeting at least once a week for the six weeks at a time that is convenient for both of you. You may choose to meet in person or using one of the following platforms: Zoom, WhatsApp, Google Hangouts, or whatever works for you. On Monday, December 6th, 2021 we will meet again as a whole group on Zoom from 7:00-8:00pm.

We hope that this will not only improve language skills, but also help us to get to know our neighbors and build a stronger community.
