Metro New York Illini Club Scholarship Application - 2024
Each spring, the Metro New York Illini Club awards a scholarship to a UIUC-bound high school senior that resides in or near the greater NYC metropolitan area. For 2024, we will provide $5,000 to a chosen area high school student on the basis of their academic accomplishments and leadership credentials.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
By 6pm EST on Friday, May 10, 2024, we request that you:
1. Complete the form below.
2. Email a copy of your high school transcript, and your SAT and/or ACT scores (if taken) to scholarship@nycillini.org.
3. Ensure that on your behalf your High School faculty reference has emailed a letter of recommendation (200 words maximum) to scholarship@nycillini.org.

All scholarship applicants will be required to participate in an interview with a Scholarship Committee member. The Scholarship Committee will endeavor to notify the scholarship recipient(s) only on or about May
24, 2024. One scholarship winner and two alternates will be selected by the Scholarship Committee and notified as soon as possible of the results. A Scholarship Award Dinner & Ceremony will be held in June in Manhattan and the winner and alternates are highly encouraged to attend.
