** Children not picked up by 5:45 p.m. will be charged a late fee in 15-minute increments. We provide care on all “early release days” for the same after school rate, and most “no-school days” at the daily rate.

𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: $𝟐𝟎.𝟎𝟎
Please submit payment with this form. This school-year program requires a separate fee from our summer program and is non-refundable. The registration is a one-time required fee of $20. If you have an outstanding balance from a previous school-year, the summer program, or previous school, you will not be allowed to register until your balance has been brought current and first week is prepaid.

𝐓𝐔𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐄:
It is School Board policy (2262.E) that daycare payments are made in advance. Please submit your tuition at the beginning of each week your child attends. All Participants pay the weekly fee. Weeks that include holidays are prorated. If you are present 1-5 days during the week, the cost is the same. Early release days are provided at no additional cost. If you make an overpayment, the balance will roll forward to the next week. A $15.00 late fee, per child, will be assessed after 5:45pm in 15-minute increments. If a field trip is scheduled, the fee is due before the trip and that is the only activity that will be scheduled at that time--no employees or students stay back.

** When sending payment into school with your child, please make sure that the memo line on your check indicates “daycare” and your child’s full name. This helps the staff make sure that the payment comes to the daycare office, not the cafeteria, and that it is applied to the correct account.

Payment by credit card is now accepted on our Web site. http://cte.highlands.k12.fl.us and click on School Resources then Afterschool Daycare to make your payment. A 3% convenience fee will be added to your charge.

𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐘, 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒 & 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘:
At Cracker Trail Elementary, we strive to provide a safe, educational, and enjoyable daycare program. To ensure your child's safety, you are required to sign your child out when picking him/her up.

Daycare must be notified if someone other than a designated person is to pick up your child. If someone other than yourself or the normal pick up person is to pick up your child, you must submit your request in writing and deliver it to CTE office/daycare staff. Also, prepare that person to come in with a state-issued, valid picture ID. Other than who the child lives with, we can add two people who may regularly pick them up to our student information system. This small inconvenience ensures that all children are safe, and released only to people that you have pre-approved. If someone attempts to pick your child up, and we don’t have a record of them, we will call you before releasing the child.

It is very important that you keep us posted of any address, phone number, and job changes. If your child is sick or injured, we will contact you immediately at your place of employment to pick up your child.

Rules and the Code of Conduct that apply during the school day also applies during after school care. If your child misbehaves, appropriate action will be taken. Minor offenses will result in time-out and parents will be informed. Major offenses will result in a warning letter or possible suspension from the program. If major offenses continue, your child will be removed from the program.

We understand that electronic devices are often brought to school to enhance access to the Internet, textbooks and other online resources. These devices may be used in the same capacity at daycare. In daycare, they will only be allowed to be accessed during homework time for academic purposes. Devices will not be allowed outside, or out during other activities. On Fridays only we may permit students to use their iPod/iPad during computer lab time for games. PSP/Gameboy/etc are only allowed on non-school days.

During the school year, students will be grouped by grade-level, and will participate in age-appropriate activities such as:

🔹Game room (Playstation 2, Wii, Playstation 3, etc)
🔹Independent homework time & assistance (not a tutoring program)
🔹Socialization with friends
🔹Outside games
🔹Movies (G and PG only)
🔹Crafts
