About Fala Aí
Fala Aí, the magazine of the Portuguese Program at the University of Georgia, is an award-winning student-run publication about the Lusophone world.

Our goal is to promote the Portuguese language and Lusophone cultures in the U.S. Our content is created collaboratively by UGA students, Portuguese-speaking expats, and contributors from our community.

In Portuguese, the informal expression “Fala Aí” could be freely translated into English as “speak up.” It is used in a friendly manner to invite someone to add their contribution to a conversation. And that is exactly what we want the Fala Aí magazine to be: a space where Lusophone speakers can voice their experiences.
