Call for families to take part in research
How many children will not return to school in September? What are the reasons for their continued absence? These are the questions No Isolation seeks to better understand. We are in the process of conducting a small research study through a survey and several case studies.

As part of the research we are looking to speak to several families. This will entail a parent/carer having a 30 minute phone call with one of our researchers. All information will be kept anonymous. The purpose is to gather the views and experiences of parents/carers in the UK on the impact of the coronavirus on children's education and well-being.

Examples of families we are looking to speak to could include those which have:
- a child who has avoided/refused school (prior to the lockdown)
- an only child using AV1
- a child who has developed anxiety during the pandemic
- a family who home-schools for health reasons
- a family with a member who is shielding

Questions will focus on:
- Experience of lockdown and education resources available
- Experience of child’s loneliness
- Safety of household members from Covid-19
- Experience of AV1, if using
- Thoughts around the coming school year and support for vulnerable children
