This form gives my student permission to participate in BACS Field Day.
*3rd-5th grade Field Day rotations will take place outside 8:15am -11:45am (lunch & Kona Ice), the rest of the day will be indoors having fun in their classrooms.
*K-2nd grade will be indoors in the morning having fun in their classrooms, (lunch & Kona Ice), then go outside for Field Day rotations from 12:00pm- 3:00pm.
*Students are allowed to dress down as long as they follow DCSS guidelines. Students need to be dressed in comfortable clothing that allows them to participate in a variety of wet and dry activities (keep in mind modesty as light clothing can become see through when wet).
*Students are required to bring a towel (labeled with their name) to dry off.
BOYS may wear swim trunks as long as they are 2" from knee and tee shirt.
GIRLS may wear shorts as long as they are 2" from knee and a tee shirt. Water shoes are recommended, however any simple slip on slip off type shoe is fine.
*Sunscreen should be applied by parents the morning of field day. Water bottles, hats, sunglasses are fine to bring. All items brought to school should have student's name on them.
ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE WORN:
one or two piece swim suits, short shorts, shirts where midriff shows or tanks w/straps less than 3" width, flip flops, crocs, or shoes without a back strap for safety, socks (impossible to put back on after they get wet).
*Your child's teacher may allow a change of clothing to be brought in. They will also notify you of any special requests that are specific to their classroom/grade level.
*Field Day Fee is $8 per student this includes a KONA ICE snow cone. The fee & permission slip must be submitted and paid via myschoolbucks before Wednesday, May 18th.
*Students will be on a modified lunch schedule. They may order from the cafe or bring a lunch from home.
*If you are planning on attending Field Day, please let your child's teacher know. You will be rotating with  them and assisting with any class needs
