SpayHR's mission is to assist the Hampton Roads community ("SpayHR clients") in finding and paying for quality, low-cost spay/neuter services through partnerships with local nonprofit spay/neuter clinics.
Our funding comes from grants and individual donors, and financial assistance is available for
(1) Spay/neuter surgery and required related costs (e.g., required heartworm testing, fees for in-heat females)
(2) Rabies vaccinations, as required by law
We provide financial assistance through vouchers that offset the total costs of spay/neuter surgery.
Voucher amounts
Female cat - $100
Male cat - $75
Dog (25 lbs and under) - $75
Dog (25-50 lbs) - $100
Dog (over 50 lbs) - $150
Please note that vouchers may not cover the total cost of the spay/neuter surgery and you will be responsible for all costs beyond the voucher amount for your pet. If you need additional financial assistance, please use the Additional Comments section of this form.

Why is so much information required? --- Your contact information and your pet's information (e.g., name, age) are required for financial and clinical documentation. Additionally, we are required to collect some basic demographic (e.g., zip code, city) and animal (e.g., species) for our funding partners and donors. Thank you!
