Our Pleasanton Unified School District schools, staff and students have received numerous state and national recognitions and its graduates regularly pursue top universities and move on to distinguished career paths to make an impact on their community. Like most California school districts, PUSD receives a majority of its funding from the state. While California is now the fifth largest economy in the world, its schools are funded in the bottom 10% when compared to other school systems in the United States. April 3 is our opportunity to speak directly with our legislators together with citizens from Alameda County and beyond.

EVENT INFORMATION:
Pleasanton parents/guardians, students and community members are invited to join Pleasanton Unified School District Educational Leaders, as well as leaders across Alameda County to join our collective call for full and fair funding for public education on April 3, 12 - 1:30 p.m. at the State Capital in Sacramento in front of Capital Mall. TRANSPORTATION:
We have arranged for a bus that is able to transport 56 for individuals that will not be traveling with their family leaving from the District Office on a first come first serve basis (please see question below relating to transportation).

The Bus will leave from the District Office (4665 Bernal Avenue) at 9 a.m. and return following the conclusion of the Rally.

If you are planning on signing up for bus transportation, please plan on arriving prior to 9 a.m. and spending the bulk of the day with us!

Please plan on bringing bottled water and funds for lunch!
