Alexander Seed Sharing Program for Kids
The N.C. Cooperative Extension-Alexander County Center is looking to engage youth in a garden to fork program. Students will be mailed seeds and information material to start their own little garden.   This will encourage them to learn about how to grow vegetables, how to prepare, cook, and preserve the vegetables. To participants, students will be ask to shared at least 5 pictures throughout the year on Alexander County Cooperative Extension Facebook page with at least one picture during planting, one picture during harvest, and one during cooking.

Kits are limited to the first 25 families to register, but we will also be taking a waiting list for those who are interested. Last day to register is April 25th and kits will be mailed out April 30th.  For additional questions, please contact Der Holcomb at dxiong3@ncsu.edu
