Cinema Queer, SAQMI, Salam Norway, Reclaim Pride Gbg & Reclaim Pride Norway join forces to bring you a very special summer-ish programme that you definitely don’t want to miss.
Together we organise this fake-retreat in a 🏕camping format🏕 that will give us the chance to reconnect with our community, build alliances and recharge our batteries for yet another adventure against racism!
This Queer Activist “Retreat” consists of a three day camping with activities that include: film programmes, conversations, workshops, party, sauna nights, quiz & games, dips in the lake, and other spontaneous activities that you might feel like doing!

Requirements
Transportation
We will rent a 🚌 BUS 🚌 to bring participants from Central Göteborg to the venue.
➡️ Departure: Friday 26th of May, late afternoon. Pick up point TBA (Gothenburg).
⬅️ Return: Sunday 28th of May, afternoon. Return point TBA (Gothenburg).
Accessibility
Support dogs are allowed (as long as they’re not sleeping in the beds)
The sleeping house has ramps and accessible toilets (but no changing tables and showers). The house where the kitchen and two other bigger rooms are has some low steps to get inside. The first floor has thresholds. There is also a second floor with more beds but no lift. There is a sauna with showers but it’s not accessible for wheelchair users.
The venue doesn't have a hörslinga (hearing loop).

Language of the films will be English, or other languages with English subtitles. Language of the programmes such as workshops and conversations will be mainly in English.
Outside of the programme, language choice will be up to the participants. We encourage everyone to use the language they feel comfortable with, and also to be open-minded and make it as inclusive to others as you might be able to provide.
