This Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we want to hear from you about 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, for example:
• Talking to your friends about this issue.
• Advocating for legislation that supports survivors.
• Posting on social media.
• Stepping in when you see harmful behaviors.

We also want to know 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 (you can think of your campus, town, faith community, etc.) 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, for example:
• Sharing messages and providing training on how to prevent violence.
• Having strong services to support survivors and making it clear that sexual violence is not tolerated.
• Incorporating policies and practices that support violence prevention.
• Working to end institutional racism.
