PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS BEFORE SIGNING UP!! Also feel free to share this link to friends and family who may wish to play interclub at CPTC this year.
CPTC requires Interclub Players to be enrolled in either a weekly Club Interclub Coaching session or to have at least 2 SPARTA (or other provider private) coaching sessions per week. Club Interclub Coaching (max 4 players per coach) costs $199 including the Interclub Team fee AND 9 weekly coaching sessions. Players who have at least two SPARTA (or other private provider) coaching sessions per week in term 4 can opt to be exempt for the Club Interclub Coaching and pay a reduced Interclub fee of $72 which covers Tennis Auckland Entry fee and your interclub teams' balls. These costs will be invoiced to you by SPARTA, and should be paid directly to SPARTA according to their invoice.
Each team will have a nominated captain who's parent will be the manager. Only in exceptional circumstances can players/parents opt out of this. We will support the manager and rotate captains each term.
1. Players can, and are encouraged to play Interclub on Saturday AND Sunday. If you play both days, please be aware that the additional cost for the second day is $72 per term.
2. Tennis Auckland permits players to play no more than 1 grade higher than their age group. Your age group is determined by your age as at 30/04/24. We will move players up age grades as appropriate.
3. If you are S8 grading or above you can opt to play Junior Premier grade (age does not matter in this grade). It is played Sundays only at 9am.
4. If it is your first or second term playing Interclub please select Beginner Grade (played 12.30pm Saturdays).
5. Except for beginner Grade (played 12.30pm Saturdays), Saturday matches start at 830am.
6. Sunday matches are 9am start time
7. You may only play two terms of Beginner Grade, so if you played both pre and post Xmas beginner last year you need to play 12s or 14s in term 1 this year. (We can, however, apply for exemptions where appropriate).
8. Please fill out all information. We will attempt to meet requests for team mates where we can.
9. Please fill out separate forms for each child/player you wish to register. After submitting/completing a form you can click 'submit another response' to complete a form for a sibling.
LASTLY - BY REGISTERING TO PLAY YOU ARE COMMITTING TO A TEAM AND COMMITTING TO BE AVAILABLE TO PLAY EVERY MATCH. WE ACCEPT THERE ARE RARE OCCASIONS WHEN THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE. BUT IT IS NOT A CASE OF PICKING AND CHOOSING WHEN YOU WANT TO PLAY. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, PER YOUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR TEAM.
