All students in Grade 8 must take Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education and Health.  Students have already chosen Band or Art. This year, NMS will again offer an Option section to students in grade 8.  This slot will be a single period every second day.  Students will choose 3 OPTION COURSES for the year.  Students will change to their second choice at November reporting time and their third choice in March at reporting time.  Students will be offered 8 choices to pick their options from.  These choices include:  Conversational French, Digital Music,  Digital Media, Art, Drama, Coding, Dance, and Skills. The Art in the choices below is a separate class than the current Art course offered.  PLEASE SELECT THE OPTIONS THAT YOU WOULD LIKE.  Do not select what your friends are picking as there are three sections of each option and you may not be in the same section as your friends.  

We ask you to select your TOP 5 and we will try to get everyone into their top 3 choices.
