Wisconsin NJC Application 2020
Conference Dates: July 27-30, 2020

The National Judicial Competition (NJC), held annually in Chicago, brings together Youth in Government participants from around the country to face off in mock trial and appellate court competitions. The event is a partnership between the YMCA of the USA and the American Bar Association. This event offers YIG participants a chance to expand on the legal issues they explore in the state Model Government session and to meet fantastic delegates from other state YIG programs. NJC calls on students to test their speaking and rhetoric skills, and delegates work in groups to prepare speeches and arguments.

As a state, we can send up to six appellate teams (of 2 students each) and up to four mock trial teams (of 5-8 students each).

All students and advisors will stay at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza and compete at the John Marshall Law School, the Chicago Bar, and the Federal Courthouse.
