WELCOME TO ETHNO NEW ZEALAND 2021, January 23-31!
Ethno New Zealand 2021 will be the the 4th edition of Ethno held in Aotearoa. It is opened to all musicians age between 18-30.
This year, Ethno New Zealand will be held on Piritahi Marae on Waiheke Island. It will be a week of young musicians teaching each other their traditional music, sharing cultural experiences and taking part in workshops.
A Marae provides the perfect foundations for a pacific Ethno experience. This is a unique experience that will give you a deeper understanding of our indigenous peoples of New Zealand and our many other cultures that reside here in Aotearoa ( The land of the long white cloud) all while creating musical magic. The week will culminate in a number of performances, one of them at iconic Auckland Folk Festival.
