We the team of  Fridays For Future Shillong movement are glad to see that there is still enthusiasm amongst the people of the city to help contribute towards the cause of our future and to the cost of the future of millions of species of plants and animals which are on the brink of extinction.

Our species is responsible for all the damage done, the damage happening and the damage yet to be done. It is now paramount for all of us the youths to come together and unite for our future that we may still be able to save.

By the next decade, if global greenhouse gas emissions are not significantly reduced, we are looking at damage that can no longer be reversed. If the global average temperature by the next decade increases by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, we are looking at rising sea levels which brings with it various other problems.

We invite you the people of Shillong to join us in our global effort to bring international obligation to the terms and objectives of the Paris Climate Agreement of 2015. Let us come together before its too late after all climate delay is climate denial.
