Hello and welcome to the very first 2023 Exploring Suwon for International Students, which will take place on June 3rd! We're more than happy to have you :)

This program helps foreign students in Suwon to build better understanding about the city, and to foster cooperation between Suwon citizens and foreign residents.

Please take a look at the details below and fill out the survey form to join the program.

★ Date : 3/6/2023 (Saturday) 09:00 -18:00
★ Participants : This program is open to 80 international students from universities in the Suwon area.

( ※ Participants will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis)
★ Location: Suwon Paldal Cultural Center, and the Suwon and Hwaseong Area

(We will gather at the meeting place at 09:00AM)

※ Further details regarding the location will be provided.

★ Activities
- Opening Ceremony of Exploring Suwon for International Students

- Hwaseong Haenggung tour with English culture commentators

- Traditional folk painting/drawing and a visit to the Samsung Innovation Museum

- Natural dyeing of scarves and a visit to the Samsung Innovation Museum

- Learning traditional etiquette and handmade stamp engraving

- Learning Pansori & Korean folk songs and Yunggeolleung tour led by a cultural commentator in English

- Suwon Hwaseong Fortress tour and Yunggeolleung tour led by a cultural commentator in English

★ You can explore the traditional value of Suwon and have a first-hand experience from a variety of activities!

★ Lunch Provided

- Kalguksu (Korean Handmade Noodle Soup) and Gamjajeon (Potato Pancakes) (No Meat Ingredients)
