1-1bExperimentalParts (Classwork)
A farmer in Holly Springs, NC had an insect problem, they were destroying his corn crop! He heard about a new insecticide that advertized that it would kill 99% of insects without harming his corn. He was skeptical but decided to give it a chance. So that next April, the farmer spread the seed like he always does. Once it started to germinate and sprout, he applied the insecticide chemical to exactly half of his field once per week. After 2 months he began harvesting the corn. The side sprayed with insecticide had a much higher yield (amount) and the corn was healthier compared to the side of the field that was not sprayed.
From the following answer choices A through I, correctly answer questions 1-8 with the correct letter matching the experimental part.
