Reading and writing are two important literacy skills that support student success in all subject areas.  Each day students are given 20-30 minutes to read at school.  It's recommended that students read 15-20 minutes at home (4-5 times/week).   How often does your child read at home? *

Did you know that our school has access to a mental health counsellor (Mr. Neil Bainbridge) and that he is available to assist your child at school and/or provide information of community resources? *

Did you know that we have CCT facilitators - Mrs. Ashley Fischer (Community Coming Together) weekly in all classrooms that provide universal strategies related to individual classroom needs, such as: hands to self, anxiety, friendships, understanding needs of others, etc. *

Similar to the previous question, should we offer TWO different times for grades K-2 and 3-5 families to attend the dance so everyone can participate and to prevent waiting at the door (fire code capacity).  Keeping in mind, the time would be shorter = approximately 1 hr/each, instead of 2 hours. *

This year parent council is supporting "wellness" presenters for our students and staff in support of physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional wellness.  Costs are approximately $3000 to 5000.00 which are funded through fundraisers.  Your thoughts?

Traditionally, we host our parent council meetings in the evening (6:00 - 7:30 pm) once a month, the second Tuesday of each month.  Please let us know your preference if other time options were available.  May select more than one.
