Internship Application

Passionate about urban sustainability and farming? Willing to get your hands dirty and learn the nitty gritty aspects of running an urban farm.

In addition, we partner with other urban farms in the area to sustain and nurture the future of farming.

ACTIVITIES:

- sowing seeds
- succession plantings
- picking and packing
- pruning
- watering
- composting
- helping with maintenance tasks for farm upkeep
- field trips

REQUIREMENTS:

2hrs a week (Mon-Fri) No Weekends.  2-3 month minimum commitment.

Minors over the age of 16 must have parental consent to participate in the internship. Minors under the age of 16 may not participate in the internship program.

Please dress accordingly to outdoor work - closed toe shoes, hat, gloves, sunscreen, etc. Gloves will be provided if you don't have any.

COMPENSATION: This is an unpaid internship position. We will work with students to arrange to receive credit from their school.
