**Teams will be fielded based on registration numbers and as approved by Baseball Oshawa at age-appropriate levels. The confirmation of a second team at any level will require approval of the Baseball Oshawa Board.

**Have you participated in the National Coaching Certification Program?  

1. All coaches for 2023 must sign and agree to abide by BASEBALL OSHAWA, Oshawa Legion Minor Baseball Association’s (OLMBA) “Code of Conduct”.

2. All coaches must acknowledge the authority of Baseball Ontario (and its affiliated associations), the Eastern Ontario Baseball Association, the OLMBA and agree to carry out and abide by their constitutions, by-laws, rules and regulations.

3. All new coaches to the association must complete a Police Record Check (P.R.C.)

4. All head coaches shall be minimum NCCP Certified Level One with Coaching Initiation certification confirmed. As well coaches must have the certification required for coaching at the playing level desired. Note additional levels are required for Eliminations.

6. All coaching applications must be submitted by August 22, 2022 —11:00pm cutoff.

7. Interview process will take place starting on August 22, 2022.

8. All successful applicants will be notified of the Baseball Oshawa OLMBA’s decisions following selection process.

9. All Head Coaches will be posted on the Baseball Oshawa OLMBA WEBSITE no later than September 6th.

The Baseball Oshawa Rep/Select Coaches Selection Committees will select Head Coaches to be approved by the Board of Baseball Oshawa. All candidates agree to abide by the Baseball Oshawa (OLMBA) constitution and by-laws and further will also abide by the Select Committee and its policies and procedures.  Successful candidates must provide or acquire a successful Police Criminal Information Report, complete with a Vulnerable Sector check. All decisions are final and are not subject to appeal.
