ICEV Youth Camp: Rules and Code of Conduct for Campers: Insha’Allah to obtain the most benefit & fun from camp, we ask you to follow the rules & code of conduct
Ø The Qur’an and the Sunnah outlined essential components of all relationships between all people. These include respect, kindness, honesty, patience, forgiveness, and tolerance. The participants are required to exhibit these behaviors as well as other Islamic behaviors.
Ø Modest dress and Islamic behavior must always be observed by both boys and girls. Girls are encouraged to wear or bring a headscarf/Hijab
Ø Everyone will be assigned to a subgroup and a group leader. At all times, everyone must stay with his or her group, unless given permission to do otherwise by the leader.
Ø Camp equipment should only be used with the permission and supervision of your group leader.
Ø Campers are to follow the given program & not leave the campground at all time
Ø Visitors are not allowed at the camp unless they have prior permission.
Ø Be ready and responsive to all that the leadership may ask the individual to observe.
Ø Welcome and take the initiative to help during the camp (e.g. cleaning, supervising or supplying needs.)
Ø Damaged or broken equipment: Participants will be charged for the cost of replacing or repairing equipment that is lost or damaged through negligence or misuse. Parents of a minor will be the responsible party in such a case.
Ø Always Keep facilities clean and tidy. Be thoughtful of others.
Ø Participants will be asked to leave camp at the camper’s own expense upon continuous violation of camp rules. Brother Shahir or Sister Hiba will call parents to inform them that your child will be heading back home with a brother driving Uber, parents will be billed for the ride back. Parents/guardians will be notified and contacted in case of an emergency.
