The IMCF is an exciting opportunity for PhD and Masters Students from around the world to visit the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) at the University of Sheffield. Delegates will contribute to debate on the state of the art, as well as showcase their own research at the IDC student conference 2020.

We are looking for up to 10 current PhD students currently studying in the fields of machining science, machining modelling, machinability, machining dynamics or related fields.

Prospective delegates must have an interest in the field and be willing to make a brief (15 minute) presentation at the IDC Machining science conference, based on their own research.

Strong collaborative skills and willingness to participate in debate are essential.
