PLEASE NOTE...THERE ARE LIMITED SPOTS FOR CARE THIS SCHOOL YEAR. REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS AND ALL PAST YEAR PAYMENTS MUST BE PAID BEFORE WE WILL ACCEPT YOUR REGISTRATION! ALSO THERE ARE SOME CHANGES TO TIMES/SERVICES PROVIDED!  PLEASE READ REGISTRATION APPLICATION IN ITS ENTIRETY!

Thank you for your interest in the FTSD Early Morning Program (EMP) & Extended Day Program (EDP) for students attending Roebling and Riverfront Schools, sponsored by the FTSD Board of Education. Child care is available on all regular school days, most half-day sessions (except for the day prior to a major holiday) and all scheduled two hour delayed openings. EMP/EDP is not available when schools are closed due to a holiday or an emergency closing such as inclement weather. Our program regulations are strictly enforced to insure quality and ethical standards for each participant in the program. The program adheres to the FTSD Student Expectation Standards.

The goal of the FTSD EMP/EDP program is to provide a safe, enriching environment for school-age children (GRADES K-6) before and after school hours to meet the needs of our working parents/guardians.  This program offers a variety of activities including indoor games & fun, outdoor play, homework help etc. in a relaxed, supervised atmosphere. At each location, the children are grouped by grades. Caregivers are assigned to work with each age group. We strive to give each child a variety of options and activities each day.

During this hybrid learning period students will be able to eat lunch (socially distanced) during the school day at either remote or EDP care (more detailed information to follow):

2020/21 SCHOOL HOURS:
Roebling Elementary School:  8:15 a.m. - 1:05 p.m.
Riverfront School:  7:50 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.

ROEBLING/RIVERFRONT EMP (K-6)
7:00 am - 8:15 am/Start of School - Riverfront EMP students are dropped off by their parents at Roebling Elementary APR and bussed by the FTSD to Riverfront School for the start of the school day

ROEBLING EDP (K-3)
1:05 pm/Dismissal of School until 5:00 pm

RIVERFRONT EDP (4-6)
12:40 pm/Dismissal of School until 5:00 pm
*As of November 2, 2020, all students enrolled in the After School Program (EDP) at Riverfront School will be bussed to the Roebling Elementary School at the conclusion of the hybrid school day.  They will receive EDP care at the Roebling Elementary School from dismissal until 5:00 p.m.  The location of the Early Morning Program (EMP) will not be changed at this time.
