I agree to turn up to my volunteer commitments on time, and to advise the RRR staff if my availability for the event changes.
I agree to work under the guidance and supervision of RRR staff.
I will not turn up to a commitment under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
I agree to advise RRR staff if I am unable or uncomfortable to complete tasks that have been assigned to. We will be understanding of these requests, just give us as much notice as possible.
I agree to inform my supervisor immediately of any injuries sustained while undertaking volunteering activities.
As a member of the RRR team, I will do my best to provide correct information and a positive attitude to all members of the public I deal with throughout the events.
I agree to work in a constructive and cooperative way with RRR staff and comply with any safety procedures as requested.
I understand that I am volunteering my services to RRR and will not receive any remuneration for my services.
The volunteer is fully aware of the risks that animals pose and have elected to view and/or interact with one or more animals in the care of RRR voluntarily. The volunteer knowingly assumes all risks that exposure to animals may pose, including but not limited to serious bodily injury and/or death.
THE VOLUNTEER HEREBY WAIVES, RELEASES DISCHARGES, HOLDS HARMLESS, AND PROMISES TO INDEMNIFY AND NOT TO BRING SUIT AGAINT Rainbow Retreat & Rescue, its directors, officers, volunteers, staff, and all other agents, and attorney for any of the referenced parties and any other parties acting for or on behalf of the referenced partied from an and all rights and claims which the volunteer has or which may hereafter accrue to the volunteer and from any and all damages which may be sustained by the volunteer directly or indirectly in connection with, or arising out of, the volunteer’s exposure to such animals.
