CALL FOR ENTRY Community Art Show: Filley Museum COVID Creation Challenge - Open to all mediums, forms, & ages
This CALL FOR ENTRY invitation is open to the public to anyone in our community and surrounding regions. We challenge you to do something artistic while you are at home practicing social distancing - use whatever media or talents are available to you to create!

As long as plans for Pratt County re-opening continue to progress and the climate is safe for individuals to visit us in small numbers with masks and precautions, the Filley Museum will host a week-long come and go public community exhibit in our Lobby (likely without an opening event due to social distancing needs). So we ask that you fill out your entry form now and drop off your artwork starting anytime after July 25th, 2020. The exhibit will take place the week of August 8th through 15th. More details will be announced soon, but the time to create is NOW! All we need to know is who plans to be present! Fill out our short form below if you intend to participate.  

When you drop your artwork at the museum, we will have you fill out a short loan agreement and review your exhibit label with the Artist name, title, dimensions, material, price (if applicable), etc.

When visiting, we ask that you please follow these guidelines:
1. Do not enter if you have symptoms of Covid-19
2. Wear a facial mask or shield.
3. Sign the guest book if you are willing and sanitize your hands (it's provided).
4. Please social distance from staff and other visitors.
5. Avoid touching surfaces and items in the gift shop, we are happy to assist you and we will also regularly sanitize door handles etc.

Is your work for sale? (The main goal of this show is to exhibit work made during the "stay at home order" but we welcome the chance to help artists and organizations generate funds during this difficult time - so if you would like to sell your work you are welcome to. We will have a simple loan agreement for each participant to fill out with these details when you bring your artwork by the museum.)

We would like artists to feel free to keep 100% of their commission instead of our usual 70/30 or 60/40 split during these difficult times. If you would like to support the mission of the art museum we thank you,  yet we also welcome you to name another charity or designee - we would likely have you make the gift directly to them after we collect the payment if the artwork does sell:
