Families must complete a separate application form for each child that they wish to register for the 2024/25 school year. A $125 non-refundable registration fee is due with each application.

2024/25 New Families Registration Dates
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year opens on January 8, 2024.

New Family Registration Forms and a non-refundable $125 registration fee per child are due January 31, 2024 at 12pm.

2024/25 Registration Policies
* A complete application includes this Registration Form completed in full and a non-refundable $125 registration fee.  

* All New Family Registration Forms received between January 8, 2024 and January 31, 2024 at 12pm will be processed together, regardless of the date and time received.  These families will be given a placement according to the enrollment categories and registration points listed below and will receive their class confirmation by February 2, 2024.

Enrollment Categories
1st - Current Student: Students attending WPSN during the 2023-2024 school year
2nd - Returning Families: Sibling of Current or Former Student, and Former Students
3rd - New Student

Registration Points
Students within each enrollment category will be offered placements based on their number of registration points.

One registration point is given for each year that a current student or a sibling of a current or former student has attended WPSN (excluding Toddler Explorers).

Students whose parent is a member of the Board of Trustees for the 2023-2024 school year receive one additional registration point for the 2024-2025 school year.

When there are more applicants with the same number of points than there are spaces available, a lottery system will be used to assign placements and waiting lists will be established according to the enrollment categories above.

* All New Family Registration Forms received after January 31, 2024 at 12pm will be processed according to the date and time that both the form and registration fee are received.  Placements will be offered if space is available.  Enrollment categories and registration points do not apply to registrations received after January 31, 2024 at 12pm.

* Winnetka Public School Nursery reserves the right to cancel or change class offerings or programs at any time.

Enrollment Policies
When registering your child, you acknowledge that you have independently considered the suitability of the selected class for your child. You further acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement by any representative of the school regarding the suitability of the school or the selected class for your child.
Tuition Policies
  • All fees and tuition payments are non-refundable for any reason, with the exception of a move outside of a 10-mile radius of WPSN, or if a child has been identified as needing alternative placement through an IFSP (Early Intervention) or an IEP (school district). Other than these exceptions, and subject to the Withdrawal section of the WPSN Parent Handbook, if a child is withdrawn from the school at any time, for any reason, the tuition payments and registration fee are non-refundable. This policy is essential to keeping tuition affordable for all families, and will be enforced to achieve that result.
  • If a family moves outside of a 10-mile radius of WPSN, a refund will be processed once WPSN receives confirmation of the new out-of-area address. The refund will be based upon prorated unutilized paid tuition. The registration fee remains non-refundable. A $250 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • If a child is identified as needing an alternative placement as detailed above, the refund will be prorated, based on the child's last day of school attended. The registration fee remains non-refundable.
  • Notice of withdrawal from any WPSN program must be confirmed in writing to our Co-Directors, Anna Henerey or Rebecca Levine c/o Winnetka Public School Nursery.
  • For families with a demonstrated financial need, special financing arrangements are available. Please contact our Co-Directors, Anna Henerey or Rebecca Levine at 847-446-5153 or directors@wpsn.org for more information.
  • Tuition is divided into 3 equal installments. The first installment for New Students is due on February 7, 2024 at 12pm. The second and third installments for all students are due on April 8, and June 3, 2024.
  • Payment of the first tuition installment confirms a child's enrollment in the class as invoiced and constitutes an agreement to pay the tuition in full for the child for the year.
  • Once any payment is overdue, WPSN has the right to assign a child's space to another child.
  • Payments received by checks with insufficient funds result in a $25 processing charge.
  • A late payment fee of $100 will be charged for any payment received after its due date.
