RTWAS MEMBERSHIP FEES, JOINING INFORMATION, & HIGHLIGHTED RULES
24/25 Season Fees
Adults (over 18) £140 plus a one-off £75 joining fee
Family (2 adults at the same address) £175 plus a one-off £75 joining fee
Juniors (upto age 18) £0 but must always be accompanied by an adult member
Over 65’s qualify for a concessionary rate (currently £80) after 5 years of continuous membership 

Highlighted Rules 

Our rules and associated documents will be emailed to you upon joining,  but in the meantime we would make you aware of the following:
  1. No bivvies.  Maximum of 12 hours in any swim.
  2. Appropriate unhooking mats must be used for the welfare of all caught fish brought to the bank.  No exceptions.
  3. No unattended rods beyond arms reach.
  4. Night fishing is not available to members under 18 years of age.
  5. Guest tickets aren’t available in the first year of membership and only from August to March thereafter
  6. From June to 1st August fishing on our river stretches is limited to 1 rod per angler, with the exception of Teston and Chafford, where two rods per angler are permitted. 
  7. Fishing at Ashurst Weir is restricted to a maximum of 2 rods per platform, ie. 1 rod per angler if sharing the platform with someone.  No fishing between platforms at any time.
  8. RTWAS operates a strict no publicity policy.  Details and photos of catches can be shared within our closed Facebook group (RTWAS- Royal Tunbridge Wells Angling Society) but must not be published on any other form of media without prior permission from the secretary.  This includes the use of RTWAS catches as profile pictures on social media accounts. Breach of this rule could lead to your membership being withdrawn. 
NB. Fees and rules are subject to change by the AGM and may have altered when a membership place is offered to you. 

Membership Renewals / Invitations
Our membership season runs from 16th June to 15th June.  Renewals are due by 15th April.  Unrenewed places start to be offered to waiting list prospects from 16th April.
